Three Leaves was set up by an ex-Grant Thornton accountant along with two partners. Being outside a central city location, they felt that they would be perceived as a local accountancy firm and would attract only small local clients. In contrast, they wanted to focus on attracting medium-to-large clients.
When a business wants to attract a particular size of client, the message the brand projects is fundamental to attracting their desired target market. So to develop Three Leaves’ brand, we went through an intensive branding exercise and market research, to ensure that the new identity we created would attract the customers they were seeking.
With the distinctive name providing inspiration, we created a clearly defined geometric icon that characterises the trust and professionalism required in this sector. The design was further expanded to include a distinct colour palette, patterns and typography.
